There is so much abuse of the internet and Web 2.0, that when something like this comes along, it gets me a little choked up and hopeful for the future. I guess it’s the collaboration on such a wide scale that does it for me.

my wife and I have been blockbuster online people for a long time… we like that you can go into the store and exchange movies…

But they have pissed us off a lot recently… like not having movies we want, and always sending us disc 2 of a series without sending us disc 1, etc.

I just met my wife at McDonalds for lunch. When I was leaving there was a long line of cars waiting in the drive-thru. The line went all the way to the street. There were bunch of empty parking spots open and almost no wait inside. Now I have been known to be lazy at times, but really? You would rather wait in a long drive-thru line than walk 50 steps and get your food instantly?
