My name is Ryan Coker.

I am a graphic designer, originally from Orlando, Florida. In late 2007 I moved to Richmond, Virginia where I work remotely for an Orlando based company.

In late 2009 early 2010 I started living a more healthy life by exercising and counting calories. I lost over 100 pounds. You can read about that here.

P90x Round 3 - Day 36:

So my wife and I started looking for our first house this weekend. We are both really excited and love the process of going and looking at the house we will live in for possibly the rest of our lives.
However, the process apparently is a lot more physically tiring than I thought. We looked at six houses on Saturday, and a few open houses on Sunday.

I hadn’t realized how much of an effect this weekend had on me until I tried to wake up for my workout this morning. I got up alright. But, after I could hardly keep my eyes open for breakfast, and I saw the results of a weekend of less than healthy eating habits, my motivation to workout this morning went from a low 40%, to 10%—just a guilt in the back of my head.  In my moment of weakness, I wish I could say that I just started picking up weights and got over my pity party. Instead, I… went back to bed. So now, instead of just counting this as loss, I am going to spend my lunch break making it up.

Overall though, P90X Round 3 is going really well. I am doing Doubles. This means that 3 days a week I do an hour worth of strength training in the morning and an added hour worth of cardio at night. This probably added to my tiredness this morning, but I love doing it and am starting to feel and see some awesome results.
