P90X Round 3, Day 1. Chest & Back
It has been a month and a week since I finished my second round of P90X. I took a month off because I was so tired of doing the same 10 workouts, hearing the same instructions and bad jokes every day.
Well, now I started round 3. While I know I will get tired of it soon, I was excited to get back to a routine that I like. If there is one thing I learned from my month off is that I am really worried about what to do when I get to maintenance. Without having guidance on what to do on what days, I tend to lose motivation. I even wrote out a schedule for myself with the help from my wife, but got bored after the first week.
But.. that is an obstacle for another day. I am a long way away from going on maintenance. Right now, I have 89 days to go.
Here is a sure sign that I am still in the right direction. The number of reps I did for all the push-ups and pull-ups this morning have all gone up by between 5 and 10 during each set. I am going to my knees less on the push-ups and using the chair less on the pull-ups.
